If you’ve ever wondered what fun swimwear photoshoots look like behind the scenes, this was it. Tennis balls, skittles scattered on the floor, and a martini glass held with total main character energy. This is what happens when Trend Ripple’s bikinis meet a blank studio space, big ideas, and the magic lens of Jindi Photographer.
We kicked off the first day of our 2-part studio shoot at My Tiny Universe with the radiant Carla Colomés, not a model by trade, but a total natural in front of the camera. With no rules and total creative freedom, the energy was bold, cheeky, and full of that spark that defines Trend Ripple.
🎾 Tennis, But Make It Trendy
We laid out some tennis balls, grabbed a racket, and styled Carla in the vibrant purple-and-red colour block bikini. There...something clicked. One of the most playful scenes of the day, this set turned sporty into sultry without event trying too hard.
Carla brought so much joy into the shot, her laughter contagious (especially during the infamous skittles spill) and the good spirits. I decided she is simply a golden girl.
🍸 A Touch of Spice
One of our favourite setups had Carla in Trend Ripple's aesthetic royal blue ribbed one-shoulder bikini set, accessorised with white Prada sunnies and a whole lot of attitude, plus a red chilli and a martini glass (because why not?).
The real cherry on top? Jewellery by Mia Qin, which effortlessly matched the vibe of the look, even though it was almost unplanned.
Ps. Who else thinks this is totally giving Margot Robbie at Wolf of Wall Street vibes?!
🧡 Golden Hour Glow... Indoors
Styled in a warm orange crochet bikini, Carla flipped through a fashion mag while lounging against a neutral background. The light in these shots is unreal, soft, sunkissed, and pure summer vogue energy.
Massive shoutout to Jindi again for those dreamy edits. Her eye for light + detail is incredible.
🤠 Cowgirl Energy
Cue embroidered boots and a black bikini. This look hit different. With a Polaroid camera in hand and a cheeky pose on the couch, Carla gave us cowboy-core with a black swimwear twist. Fun, bold, and full of personality.
🌸 Retro Florals Forever
To wrap things up, we styled our floral underwire bikini, inspired by vintage ‘70s prints and poolside daydreams. Carla embodied that effortless glow, and Jindi brought the mood into focus with soft tones and playful details.
This shoot was about more than just showcasing bikinis but more about telling stories through Trend Ripple's swimwear, and letting every piece speak for itself.
Carla brought the energy. Jindi brought the magic. And Trend Ripple brought the bikinis that tied it all together.
